We have had a great year and your input is valuable. The Creative Cafe has been a great project. We have done many things together: photography, writing, poetry performance, baking, storytelling and community outreach. We have been featured in a short film. We have increased our voice in the community and we have made some great friends.

Please take two minutes (that is all it should take!) and complete a short online survey which is comprised of 10 questions. The survey results will be submitted electronically directly to a Consultant who is assisting us with our program evaluation. All responses will be held in strict confidence. We will use your feedback and suggestions to further enhance the events Malton Moms presents within the community.

Four Corners Health will run for the second time in Malton, the BLACK HEALTH CHALLENGE!  This program is a fitness and nutrition program offered one time per week for 12 weeks!

We hope the Holiday break was restful for all of you. We hope the New Year brings you joy and opportunity.

Here is an IMPORTANT MESSAGE. If you have children, ages 4-12, consider signing them up for the Winter Tennis Program at the Malton Community Centre. Malton residents/activists/community developers, Helene and Clem Burrowes have put together a progressive tennis training program to help your youngster get active during the Winter and stay strong. The skills they learn here can help them shine on the court this coming Summer.

As we often find, registration is low. Please consider the Active Assist option if finances are an issue. Active Assist allows you to receive up to $250 per family member for activities offered by City of Mississauga. $250 per person! Thats phenomenal! Every one in your family can participate and get healthy for this New Year. Think of the possibilities: Tennis, Yoga, Swimming, Skating Lessons... and SO MUCH MORE! 2nd Annual Christmas Movie-Thon: FRI. DEC. 21 6pm

Tis the Season! For shopping, for fatigue, for kindness, for "I want, I want, I want". Many of us struggle with the joy that is Christmas. As busy mothers we are working hard to make a fruitful family life while balancing chequebooks and seeing that our children have all they need to do and be their best in the world. Let us share in the twinkle that comes from our children's eye in the anticipation of Christmas and have a little fun together.

With the Christmas Holiday approaching, we wanted to take some of the stress off by popping some good old fashioned popcorn, grabbing some snacks and turning our meeting space into an extended living room/ theatre.

Please join us on Friday December 21, 2012 (the last day of school! ) at 6.30pm to watch our old favourites: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Charlie Brown Christmas, Santa Claus is coming to Town and new favourites like Elf and Olive the Other Reindeer!

Malton Moms Christmas Dinner - December 9th, 2012

Greetings Malton Moms! 

I hope and pray that the season is blessing you and yours. I am glad to announce that we are having our Second Annual Malton Moms - Malton Seventh Day Adventist Christmas Dinner! 

The MSDA has graciously extended to us once again their church, their hall and their staff to cook a sumptuous holiday meal to celebrate the season. 

Everyone is welcome!
